We welcome out-of-town boarders.  If you are traveling through the Birmingham area and need a place for your horse to stretch his legs, stop in to see us!  Hotels are located within 15 minutes from our facility
The Hitchin Post now has a full line of English tack and apparel.  We are now the only Western and English tack and apparel store in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Also, The Hitchin Post will host its first Summer Day Camp for kids ages 5 - 15.  For more information, call the office at 205-590-1952.  A curriculum is currently being gathered and registration forms will be available by March 15, 2007, if not before.

Boarding

For Monthly board, your horse will have its own stall and is fed twice daily, watered, and given hay.

At your preference, we will turn your horse out for grazing or exercise.
For Stall Boarding
For Pasture board, horses are pastured and watered. Hay will be fed as needed. Full as of 1/1/07
For weekly board, your horse will have its own stall, be fed twice daily, watered, and given hay. At your preference, we will turn your horse out for grazing or exercise.

For daily or overnight board, please contact us for terms. We are flexible for your convenience and needs.

Monthly -- $250
Pasture Boarding -- w/feed $150/mth
Weekly Board -- $75 week
Overnight/Daily Board -- $20/day/night
